Zariah Anglin graduated from Grace Christian Academy in 2019. She was class salutatorian and recipient of the Citizenship, Alumni and Salutatorian Award having maintained a 3.79 GPA throughout her tenure at the institution.
Zariah is currently at Flagler College in Florida on a Ministry of Tourism Scholarship. There she pursues a Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communications/Public Relations with a minor in Sociology.
Past teachers describe the 20-year-old West Bay resident as a person of well-rounded character and a natural leader.
These attributes gave rise to in Zariah’s selection as Student Council Vice President and Next Generation Leader Conference Attendee in 2018. She was also selected as Junior Ambassador of Tourism for The Cayman Islands and first place winner of the Tourism Speak-Off that year.
Zariah was selected to participate in Junior Achievement Cayman in 2016, 2017 and 2018. During the last two years, she was president of her companies and received the opportunity to travel to the International Junior Achievers Conference in Florida as part of Cayman’s delegation.
For her part, she was named 2017 President of the Year and winner of the International Junior Achievement Best Pitch Competition.
Zariah credits her involvement in Junior Achievers as an integral part of her decision to pursue a career in marketing and communications as it allowed her the opportunity to plan, lead and control while maintaining contact with stockholders and other achievers.
She is also the 2017 winner of the Christian Spirit of Grace Award and a former Editor of the Grace Gazette.
