Sierrah’s athletic journey began at a very young age. She learned to swim at Fitness
Connection with Coach Laura and then transitioned to the Government swim
programme at the Lions Pool with Coach Ryan, at seven years old. After standout
performances at school swim galas, she later joined Seven Mile Swimmers with Coach
Darren Mew; and started local competitive swimming in March 2017. At birthday parties
and Agriculture Shows, Sierrah would always ask the face-painting artist to paint the
Olympic Rings on her cheeks.

She has represented her country in the following competitions: CARIFTA (from 2022-
2025), CCCAN 2022, Commonwealth Games 2022, Youth Commonwealth Games 2023,
and Pan American Games 2023. Sierrah also served as Team Captain for CARIFTA 2025,
and was CARIFTA High Point Winner for 2023, 2024 & 2025. Her Cayman Islands medal
summary includes 36 Medals. - 21x Gold, 13x Silver, 2x Bronze. She holds 4 Senior National
Records: 200m Butterfly (Long Course) & 200m Butterfly, 100IM, 100m Backstroke (Short
Course). Additionally, Sierrah holds 19 Age Group National Records: *15-17: 200m Fly (LC),
200m Fly, 100IM, 200IM, 400IM, 100m Back (SC); *13-14: 100m Fly, 200m IM (LC), 50m Fly,
200m Fly, 100IM (SC); *9-10: 50m Fly, 200m Back (LC) and *8&U: 100 & 200m Free, 100m
Back, 100m Breast (LC), 200m Free, 100m Back (SC).
In July 2025, Sierrah competed at the Island Games in Orkney, Scotland, representing
Cayman there for the first time. Afterwards, she went to Sheffield, UK, to compete in the
British Championships with her school team. In August 2025 she traveled to Romania to
represent Cayman at the World Aquatics, World Junior Championships. Her international
competition schedule in 2026 includes CARIFTA in Martinique and the Commonwealth
Games, in Glasgow, UK.
In her spare time, Sierrah is an avid scuba diver, underwater photographer and loves
boating around the East End Sound. Over the summers, Sierrah has worked as a crew
member onboard a Stingray City boat. She loves the water and plans to study Marine
Sciences at university. She wants to work on environmental projects to protect coral
reefs. Sierrah is passionate about motivating and uplifting Cayman's next generation of
athletes. Her mission is to help youth see their potential and believe in their abilities, no
matter the challenges they face.
