Growing up I played a lot of different sports. When I got to a certain age I needed to
choose one I really wanted to pursue, and I always knew it would be football. I went from
playing in primary school with the boys’ and girls’ teams in the PFL; to later participating
in various football trips to the Bahamas and Jamaica. I then went on to Darlington School
to play in their academy. Once I left Darlington and was home for a few years, I realised I
really wanted to go and play abroad again. That’s when I was fortunate to get a trial with
Cardiff City.

In past years, I have honed my skills within the sport. My achievements have included
winning four (4) top goal scorers whilst playing in CIFA league in Cayman. I also won
"Golden Boot" while I was at Darlington. When playing for the Cayman Islands National
Team I got CONCACAF U17 Championship joint top goal scorer (U17) and was recognised
in the CONCACAF Gold Cup Best XI (senior). My first year playing semi-professional
football, we won the Treble (the league and two cups); I was nominated for Young Player
of the Season and I was in Team of the Season in the Adran Welsh Premier. I also played
in the Champions League Qualifying Round twice with Cardiff City!
After playing for Cardiff City for two years and winning the Adran Welsh Premier League
twice, it came time for me to move on to a different challenge – Tier 3 English football
where I’ve just signed for West Bromwich Albion. I’m really excited for this new journey
and seeing where I can get to next. I have continued to chase my dreams, and stay
focused on my future in football.
I enjoy being a role model for the younger generation of footballers in Cayman. Last year
(2024), when I was home, CIFA organised a “Meet & Greet” for me with some of the
younger national team players. It was nice to see how many younger girls and boys I
could inspire and to see the support I have back at home! When I was home for the
Christmas holidays, I also did a small training session with a few young school children,
which I hope to do more of when I return home again. I am honoured to encourage and
motivate our young athletes.
