National Heroes Wall at the IGH

In October, guests and community members at the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for Cayman’s inaugural Intergenerational Hub (IGH), were treated to a special installation wall commemorating the Cayman Island's 10 national heroes.

The significance of the IGH extends beyond its physical confines. It serves as a bridge, linking diverse generations and fostering a deeper understanding between them. The heroes wall adds a poignant touch of Cayman's heritage; and is just one part of that bridge.

The installation emphasises the importance of recognising and celebrating those individuals who have played a pivotal role in shaping the identity and history of the Cayman Islands.

If you have not seen the installation, you are encouraged to visit the IGH in the new year to view it and to learn more about the IGH. We look forward to collectively embarking on this journey, ensuring that the Intergenerational Hub becomes a beacon of inspiration and connection within our community.
