On Friday, 20 October 2023, the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for Cayman’s first ever Intergenerational Hub took place.
It was a historic moment, marking the beginning of a vibrant new chapter in our community. The Intergenerational Hub (IGH) is more than just a building; it is a testament to the Ministry of Youth, Sports, Culture & Heritage's commitment to preserving our culture and heritage and ensuring a bright future for all generations.
The IGH will help to bridge generational gaps, help us further embrace our rich heritage, and shape a stronger, more connected community. The ribbon-cutting was followed by a tour of the facility and a day filled with cultural entertainment that inspired, educated, and entertained.
